I owned a weller 100 for over 10 years using it almost everyday. It always worked great, with consistant heat. I had a bit that seize up in the iron and I ruined my iron trying to get the bit out. I was excited about getting a new weller 100 but have been terribly disappointed. The first one quit after one use and the replacement has cold spots so I can never run a good bead.
