Butterflies

 This is a 24" x 48" leaded glass panel in an oak frame designed to hang in a wall cut-out that divides 2 rooms.  

This custom panel was designed by me and commissioned by a friend of mine as a birthday gift to his wife.  The central butterfly design was inspired by a picture he took of his wife's ankle tatto.

 As the story was told to me, the butterfly and rosebud in the butterfly's wing is a symbol of  transformation and blossoming into a new stage of life.
