Description:

 

Summer Shade is the creation of Paducah, Kentucky sculptor Michael Oehlschlaeger. It stands 9" high and is 8" wide. It was created with 100 pressed Czech glass olivine and beige leaves, 22 Siberian jade leaves, vintage (bronzed) copper wire, and it is mounted atop Kentucky chert and live moss. The small sedimentary rock affixed to the base has a small fossil indentation indentation in it.
