Tiffany sculpture made of 7000 pieces of hand-cut Kokomo, Uroborus, Bullseye, Oceana and Spectrum glass. No grinder was used, our only tools were pliers, glass cutters and soldering iron.
The sculpture took 800 hours to make by the team of two: Max and Channa. It was an exciting time, including one instance of the work in progress falling from the table before our eyes. Our hearts skept a beat, but luckily only 4 pieces had to be replaced.
The sculpture is 7.8 kg (17 lb) and 850x510x280 mm (33x20x11 inch). It stands on a motorized rotating table and has a lightbulb in each leg.
