Tibetan Temple God

This Tibetan Temple God is a regal 40 inches long x17 inches high. He was made entirely out of dishes. His swirls were created first with black dishes and then I moved on to the filler which involved breaking "Block "china into very small pieces. I embellished the background with a little "Blue Willow" and finished up his teeth and claws with some vintage dishes. He took about eight weeks to complete and since I used such tiny pieces to make him, I varnished him to guarantee no pieces would come off!
