Plants on a column

0 loves
Description:

I made this window from a door  pattern printed in the book I bought called WIndows of Elegance from Wardell Publications, Studio Designer Series, Collection Two, page 42.  I wanted to put it in my master bathroom window over the bathtub.  I finished one panel and then found out we had to move, so I never made a second panel, but that was fine because we hung it on a wall at the top of the stairs, which is a great focal point looking up from the bottom of the stairwell.  It measures approx 20" x 50".  It is made of several glue-chip bevels.  I used brass came and lead came.   To give the column more definition because the bevels got lost in the pane with the surrounding bevels, I added some window tinting material, which I picked up as a scrap from a window-tinting shop for free.  It works great on smooth glass and really stands out.
