Raindrop

This 16"x12" minimalist panel has a couple of very unique features. In opposite corners of the frame are "branches" hand carved from oak. The raindrop is a cabochon bevel, raising up nearly 1" out of the panel. The olive green Bullseye glass is even prettier than it shows in the photo. The background glass is appropriately called Clear Rain. This simple, yet elegant panel was built using the copper foil technique. Solder was left silver and polished to a soft glow. The frame is solid oak and stained with provincial oak.
