Lemon, Center of Interest

When I saw the red glass, it made me think of a picture in my mother's dining room. This was the 4th piece I did and my first time using the ring saw. Was a bit timid!  I made this from memory.  The original had pears and pomegranates and tiny blue cornflowers on the bowl.  I was not yet proficient enough to do the pomegranates and get those little blue flowers cut into the bowl, so I did pears and kiwi. Thought it needed some punch, so changed a few kiwi to lemons.  Later, when I saw the original picture again, I realized the face was really a lion.
