Salvaged Window by Cindy Cage

I have trouble throwing things away, so this salvaged window became a canvas for my glass. It is an original design. I wanted to create a geometric work that would let the light through. When I was choosing colors, I found this white wispy glass with beautiful streaks. My goal was to cut the small pieces from the wispy glass without loosing the movement of the white streaks. I had to waste glass but I loved the result. Actually, it was not a waste. I have a hard time throwing away glass too!
