Water Walking

Walking on a lily pad an African Jacana peeks into a purple water lily.  Created entirely of fused glass pieces, chips, and powders it was kiln fired to keep its’ surface textures.  Flowing indentations were added below the bases to recreate the movement, depth, and flow of water.
