16-INCH ART NOUVEAU TABLE LAMP

A stunning Art Nouveau Table Lamp. The Art Nouveau was a period of time from about 1890 - 1914. It was a time of modern society and way of producing new and different production methods. During this period of time, Art Nouveau florished in many European countries, France, Italy, Belgium, Germany and Spain, only to mention but a few.

This Art Nouveau lamp has been constructed from Spectrum opal translucent glass, 3/16-inch copper foil and 60/40 grade solder. There are 12 design repeats in the pattern. The color scheme is made up of white wispy glass for the background with a powder blue decorative border. A wispy yellow aperture ring, harlequins and top border accents. The diameter of the shade is 16 inches with the bottom of the border slightly concave. The height of the shade is 6 inches, with an aperture of 4 inches. Ther are 180 individual pieces of glass. The shade has been finished off with a brown patina and stands on a 14"-inch bronze colored Art Nouveau Lamp base.
