Flower Girl

This is a glass on glass mosaic. Pieces of carefully shaped colored glass are glued to a piece of clear glass then grouted and waxed. Some of the pieces have been carefully stained and fired for the detail of the face, hands and the leaves on the sides. The centers of the flowers are various shaped glass beads. Enamels are baked on for additional detail. The grout is black. The panel measures approx.12 7/8 in. x 20 in. including the gloss black solid wood frame.
