Forever Red

“‘Forever Red’ Geraniums” Stained Glass Original design (2011); 9” x 16”; 81 pieces of glass including 7 glass teardrop beads (the floret blooms) and 5 vitreous squares along with a Kokopelli charm on the terracotta pot. ‘Forever Red’ is actually a color of geranium, but since geraniums cannot survive the Indiana winters outside… I can now enjoy year-round red geraniums inside my kitchen window… forever. ‘Forever Red!’ While photographing this stained glass project, several female Ruby-Throated Hummingbirds came up to the window, thinking the flowers were real!
