Lake Superior

I designed and made this piece to fit in our outer porch door. We had lived on the shores of Lake Superior the previous three years and found that once we moved into town we missed the sound of the lake lapping (or crashing) on the shore, the sunrises and the sunsets. Even though the lake is now only a 20 minute drive away, I needed the lake with me all the time. The question people ask me is, "Is this a sunrise or a sunset?" My reply, "You choose."
