MADAM BUTTERFLY

Madam Butterfly flutters out of my Studio into her new surroundings. She has been constructed from a hand painted lead free cast body and opal glass.

For the construction of her beautiful wings, a nice and vibrant selection of  colors has been used, ranging from yellow, orange, red and blue Spectrum opal glass, 3/16-inch copper foil has been used, together with 60/40 grade solder and finished off with balck patina.

Her vital statistics are: a wing span of 8.5 inches, and wing length, of 8 inches. Madam Butterfly stands gracefully at a height of 4.5 inches. (Flowers and container not included!)
