MEMORIAL MIRROR

A leaded piece of work for my City & Guilds Qualification. A commission for a Memorial Mirror. 

The consruction of the mirror is of Spectrum opal glass, mirror glass and clear glass, 0.25 & 0.50-inch lead came, 3/16-inch copper foil and 60 /40 grade solder.

The color scheme is of white, light blue, yellow and green. The yellow roses have been fired in a kiln and are slightly fused to the background glass. Hand written Gothic or English Black Letter has been written on velum and sandwiched between two pieces of clear glass and copper foiled into one glass piece.
