Sunrise Over Mountains

The design is a glass-on-glass (GOG) mosaic art piece, featuring a sun rising over a mountain range on an antique, re-purposed window sash. Several hundred (500+) multi-size stained glass squares form the sky, and the mountains have been cut to shape. Several types of high-quality Uroboros glass have been used in creating the design.  I do not work from patterns or images, but instead I create my designs as I work, cutting and placing glass as the image "creates itself" on my substrate.
