Idaho Wedding

The design is a glass-on-glass (GOG) mosaic art piece, commissioned as a gift for a newly married couple commemorating their outdoor wedding in Idaho. The finished piece features the couple's wedding site (see inspiration photo in gallery). Process: I design, and create, all of my own design pieces, so each artwork is unique and one-of-a-kind. All glass pieces have been cut by me. Only the highest quality glass is used. Everything is then sprayed with a sealant to protect the glass and grout from wear and tear.  I do not work from patterns or images, but instead I create my designs as I work, cutting and placing glass as the image "creates itself" on my substrate.
