Description:
This is a 10" wide by 21" long wall hanging. All glass is Bullseye COE 90. First firing was to a full fuse for the background, 3 fish & botttom of flower. Second was a high tack fuse for the lily pads, stems & top of flower. The dragonflies are Pate de Verre using a ceramic mold from Delphi. The dragonflies were attached using optical glue 3M product. On the back for hanging: I used clear 1/4" thick by 2" wide by 8" long glass slumped over 2 fiber paper sections each. 1 for the top & one at bottom. The arches were farther apart on the bottom than the top. They were glued with UV glue to back of the piece. I then ran a heavy copper wire through the top, leaving a loop for hanging, then down to the bottom and bent edge to secure. The loop at top was bent out to except a picture hanger.
