Surfer Dude

My neice Krista is a photographer and surfer and takes many views of the ocean, waves and surf. She recently wed, and I thought it would be a cool challenge if I could set one of her pictures to glass as a wedding gift. This is the finished project, the project in progress and it's inspiration. It turns out the surfer in the picture was her husband, which made it more thrilling for me. I painted Thomas onto the wave with enamel.
