Lotus Bud

Garnet, cranberry, and pinks shade the lotus bud in this fused glass artwork.  Each petal pushes outward in varying degrees, enhanced by an iridescent surface.  The green leaf edges curl up within the circle base design. Multiple layers of fusing glass pieces, chips, and powders add the physical and visual depth. 15" x 15" x 5/8"
