Maine: On the Lake

Over the past year I have been battling cancer at a hospital in Pennsylvania, but my true home is Maine. Many early mornings in the hospital I would dream of our family home on a lake in the woods of Maine where I would lay in bed and listen to the loons calling. This 12" kilnformed bowl is one of a series that helped me surround myself with the things I love-nature, while also staying safe during my battle with cancer. This piece is made of Bullseye glass and powered frit mixed with stringer medium.
