Stained Glass Sun Catcher Tiffany Style Glass 3D Butterflies on Bubbles

This colorful handmade stained glass sun catcher is designed with a mixture of rainbow cathedral, opaque, solid, textured, swirled and streaked stained glass butterflies and circles, resembling bubbles.

This sun catcher is created using the copper foil stained glass method ("Tiffany style"). Each stained glass piece is hand cut and ground and soldered with 50/50 lead alloy. The butterflies' antennae are made with copper wire, soldered to match the sun catcher.  The 3D stained glass butterflies were handcrafted individually and securely soldered into the front of the glass circle bubble sun catcher. 

Rings are soldered to the top of the sun catcher for hanging. The 3D butterfly suncatcher is polished with carnauba wax to a glistening sparkle, prolonging oxidation.
