Stained Glass Mosaic Mandala Panel

This handmade glass mosaic panel features a mandala design in shades of blue, yellow, red,and white. It represents a time when I moved back to Canada after spending a term abroad in Stockholm, Sweden and how you never see your home country the same way after living abroad. The colours are a blend of the two national flags of Canada (red and white) and Sweden (yellow and blue). The mosaic has been created in a recycled frame painted in an antique white. The mosaic has been grouted using a charcoal coloured grout, and has been hand highlighted with black paint to provide definition of the image. The mosaic has been sealed and signed.
