The Pomegranates

This is a stained glass panel (30 x 23 inches) depicting two pomegranates - I created a pattern for it from a photograph I took in Spain last summer. The little fruit grew in a partly shaded spot near a whitewashed wall in the countryside, and the morning sun reflected off that white wall created a complex colorplay that I tried to imitate in glass using 10 shades of red and 8 shades of green glass.
