Description:
This light fixture was commissioned by a family to hang in their synagogue as an Eternal Light/Ner Tamid. They asked that the design represent flames, that the fixture consist of glass and wood, and that it was inscribed in a memorial. The pattern is my own design and each of the six sides are different. I used a variety of opaque glass as well as acid etched clear glass to help hide the electrical components. I hand engraved the wood in memorial, and my father, who is a carpenter, cut and affixed the wood frame. The fixture measures 10" H x 9" W x 7 7/8" D.
Material used:
- Stained glass
- copper foil
- solder

- electrical components
