Have you ever wanted to get away from it all? Gaze at art and wish you were there? That is what my Moonrunner inspires. Over 30 years ago, when my husband was courting me, we would take midnight sailboat trips on the gulf. We would share the warm breeze, the lull of the swells, and the beauty of the moon-kissed sea. Enjoy my memories.

In most designs, the focus is darker and richer, but this panel features a contrast. The night-time sky is created with navy and purple cathedral glass. The Moon, it's cloud cover and wave caps are accented in iridized glass. Details, as in the ship captain, are emphasized by hand cut copper sheet overlays. It is assembled with the Tiffany Copper foil method. The piece measures 21 inches by 18 inches unframed. It is framed with rough cedar to compliment the raw materials used.
