Seoul Alight

I lived in Seoul, South Korea from 1996 to 2004. Both my children were born there. Sometimes we would climb the hill behind our home to watch the fireworks in the city from a distance. I made this piece to remind us of this time. We can see the fireworks a lot closer in this view, which shows Seoul Tower complemented by the brilliant colours of a traditional Korean Pagoda. I made the fireworks by working glass rods over a flame.
