Pattern by Dorothy Hoyt-Reed
I was playing around with a drawing program, planning on making an abstract design when I created a form that reminded me of one of the many pens my husband collects. I decided to create a pattern with something like sparks and flames striking up from the pen. Where the angles meet it created a clump of solder, that I didnt' like, so I added a jewelry piece of a heart and wings. The half frame I added when I realized that it need something else. I decided on just a half frame to keep the flames moving. It is made with copper foil.
