The Spirits of San Marcos by Kathryn Welch

This three piece installation graced the rooftop lounge at the recent Mermaid Ball in San Marcos, Texas.  It consists of three panels: Guardian of our History, Muse of the Arts, and Protector of the River. Each panel measures 1'x5' and is suspended in a custom-made stand with special lighting.  This large installation was purchased by the City of San Marcos, and may be seen on permanent display at the Public Library.
