"Self Portrait" by Kathryn Welch

This whimsical piece is one of my favorites.  It incorporates a real wine glass filled with specially tinted resin, and a cut glass "splash" spilling from the clumsy hand that is dropping it.  I experimented with the framing by floating one frame inside another, creating negative space with curled wire extending the movement beyond the glass panel.
