Lotus Life

Plum and neo-lavender fusing glass pieces within layers of clear, iridescent, and transparent spring green sheets create this fused glass artwork.  The full stages of life are represented by the circular design, including the bud, fully blossomed flower, and finished seed pod.  Recessed voids make up the leaf’s veins creating visual and textural depth.  Specialized fusing glass pieces, powders, and sheet glass are combined, then fired in a glass kiln.   15” x 15” x ¼”
