This is a large abstract mosaic from my Illuminated Shards® Spring Series, evoking hope, inspired by the colors and rebirth of spring. The title for this unique mosaic was inspired by the lyrics to the song, "Tiny Light," by the popular singer, Grace Potter. The song is about hope in a time of despair and about not giving up. Created on a lightweight mosaic substrate, called Wediboard, this mosaic measures 30 inches by 24 inches, and is ready to hang. Although this is a large mosaic, it weighs less than 30 pounds, and has been exhibited on a public library wall for a monthly art exhibit, as well as being exhibited in another setting very easily on a metal artist floor easel.

It contains layers and layers of features, including hand cut slate from vintage roofing tiles, hand cut Youghiogheny Art Glass Rocks, and hidden reflective elements.

This mosaic is one of a kind and is an extremely unique work of fine art. Ready to hang, with sturdy hanging system embedded in the artwork. This particular mosaic can hang either horizontally or vertically.

Because this mosaic contains unique reflective qualities, it looks beautiful and almost "glows" when it is displayed with focused, gallery-type lighting on it. It also looks beautiful in a sunny room with sunlight shining on it.
