Summer Tide 2

This mosaic, titled "Summer Tide 2, can be purchased with a companion piece of the exact same size, titled, Summer Tide 1," and can be displayed as a diptych work of art.

Created on a lightweight handmade substrate, called this mosaic measures 32 inches by 6 inches. 

It contains layers and layers of features, including mother-of-pearl metallic paint, hand collected and hand cut sea shells, custom-cut embedded reflective elements, and stained glass shards. The shells are coated with a UV-resistant art resin coating from the UK.

This mosaic is one of a kind and is an extremely unique work of fine art. Ready to hang, with sturdy hanging system embedded in the artwork. 

Because this mosaic contains unique reflective qualities, it looks beautiful and almost "glows" when it is displayed with focused, gallery-type lighting on it. It also looks beautiful in a sunny room with sunlight shining on it.
