This is what I call a Wavescape - it is two sided which makes it perfect as a center piece for a dining table. Each side holds a tea light which provides a warm glow through the glass on both sides. This piece measures about 9 1/2" x 5 1/2" x 6" tall. I called it a Tucson Wavescape because of the beautiful colors of the Bullseye Glass - it so reminded me of Tucson and was actually created for a show that was being held in Tucson.
There are many firings and steps to create this piece - you have the basic base - the wave - and then 2 candle holders. After all the pieces are created there is the assembly with frit and stones surrounding the base.
Wavescapes are one of my favorite pieces to create since they provide such a warm and friendly feeling to a room.
