When conceiving the colors for this piece I was considering the sun peeking through the trees until one night when I stepped outside. I looked up at the full moon and the beauty of the night inspired me to do a night scene. I believe these colors are serene and relaxing. What makes this piece most interesting is when the sun is shining through the piece and the moon seems to light up.
Tree, moon, and grass are made with opaque glass while the background's blue glass is transparent (cathedral). Tree elements protrude past the natural border of the piece making it a more dynamic than a simple square piece.
