Anchorage Reflection - Fused glass

I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, and was excited to see how I could create a fused piece that would capture the beauty of my surroundings here.  With the help of beautiful dichroic glass, I was able to make more impressive the Northern Lights, the Big Dipper (also our state flag), the setting sun's light on our city's skyline, and its reflection in the ocean.  Hanging this in a window changes the colors of the dichroic glass pieces and makes the mountains stand out, while displaying it on a wall makes the shimmering colors pop!
