Twilight

Each flower is composed of violet, fuchsia, and pink fusing glass powders sifted on varying densities of dense white chips within the lower layers. Subtle amber and green powders create patterned leaves in the base design.  After the first kiln firing a mixture of black powder and liquid medium is drawn on for delineation and shading.  Adding accents of opaque green circular patterns the fused glass artwork is low temperature re-fired to create surface textures.   15” x 14 7/8” x ¼”
