Black Panther

I love the elegance of black panthers so for this stained glass piece I wanted to capture their beauty using the glass in an arched window style to highlight their magnificence. This panel looks stunning against a window or even hanging on the wall. 

I sketched out the design, cut out the glass pieces, and soldered them together using the copper foiling method. I finished the panel off by using black patina over the solder to blend in with the glass of the panthers body.

This panel measures about 18 1/2 inches wide and 23 inches tall.
