Description:
When visiting some friends prior to their wedding I noticed a lack of photos around their new home. The bride said that she would like to put more pictures up but she had a lack of frames and pictures printed and just hadn't had time with the wedding to do much about it. Therefore for a wedding gift for the couple, i made a double frame using the colors of their wedding. This was a fall wedding where browns and golds were used in the wedding. Aluminum L bars were cut down and actually soldered into the piece to hold the photos in position. Thin plastic sheets were also used as a backing so that the photos didn't slowly start to droop in the back. Two small hinges were used so that the frame could be adjusted however the couple wanted or folded in half for ease of moving it.
Material used:
- glass
- hinges
- copper foil
- solder
- aluminum L bar
- thin platic sheets
