Sunset in Arizona

This 8 x 5 plaque was made using the David Acala method of glass tapestry.  I used a variety of fine frit and poured it in different levels between two pieces of clear glass.  Once the design was in place, I removed the top clear glass which left the base glass and the design.  This was then fused to a full fuse.  Once it cooled, I painted on the cactus and rocks with enamel and then fired again.
