Podenco Friends

Podencos are Spanish hounds used for hunting, and thousands are killed or discarded at the end of hunting season.  There is a core of incredible residents of Spain that work to rescue and rehome these abandoned dogs as pets.  Podenco Friends is one of these groups run by expatriate Brits and supported by helpers throughout the world.  This panel is a portrait of a rescued Podenco Ibizan that was crafted for an auction fundraiser for the group that rescued my two podencos.
