Drágaköves Virágok ("Jeweled Flowers")

When cleaning out my mother’s home we found a stash of “family” embroidery patterns drawn my grandmothers/grandaunts.  The patterns are all hand drawn of traditional Hungarian flower embroidery.  I thought the patterns would make a wonderful transition to glass.

This panel is approximately 16 1/2" x 16 1/2" (excluding the hooks).   It is made with over 125 individually cut, polished, wrapped, and soldered glass pieces and took about 45 hours to design and build.   The total weight is ~3 lb 8 oz.
