Spirit of Spring

This gorgeous 9"x8" COE90 tile celebrates the coming of Spring.  Each tree was cut on a ring saw and meticulously fitted together with the other trees with the help of a grinder.  The flowers are made of stringers, millefiori, rods, and hand-cut pieces.  The soft sky and canopy background was formed with fine frit.  The piece was fired to a contour fuse.
