Wild Fire by Murray Fleming (Innovative Glass Designs)

The wood for this piece was carefully selected based on the design of natural knots which gives the birch wood its unique appearance.  The geometric glass component, which contrasts with the gentle curves of the stand,  has been constructed using the rich colours of red and black and Uroboros Streaky Grenadine.  

The wild fire in Ft McMurray was the inspiration for this piece.
