Starbursts Plate

Purple, blue, and yellow layers of stacked pieces, chips, and powders of fusing glass are sandwiched between kiln shelves. Firing under heavy weights the design fuses together, shifting the design and perspective.  After the first kiln firing to fuse the pieces together another firing within a mold creates the final shape.
