2018 - Our Gorge on Fire by Greta Schneider

This is done with high fire glass enamels and powders.  The pictures of our fires in Oregon this summer were frightening and upsetting but were also often striking and in some ways beautiful..  We especially hated to lose parts of our beautiful and scenic Columbia River Gorge area....on the Oregon and Washington border. I did several fused glass fire pieces....as it was a compelling topic here for quite a while.
