Multicolor Dichroic Fused Glass Pendant with Wire Wrapped Edge

This is made from a number of small pieces of dichro in a number of colors....fired together into a clear base.  The dichro also has designs hand etched in with a diamond bur.   After the initial firing and grinding it into a nice shape....it is fire polished and then the outside edge has a groove ground into it and some thin gold fill wire is twisted and then wire wrapped to hold the pendant and make the bail. This way - with the clear glass....the setting does not get in the way of the glass art.....and any color the wearer has on will show through parts of the pendant.
