Spring!

Spring is in the air!!  I was inspired (once again) but the changing of the seasons in New England.

I have always been in awe of the design of the Beijing National Stadium (also known as the Bird's Nest).  This piece is my nod to this amazing piece of architecture.    I began with making the eggs  from real egg shells (hand painted) and surrounded them with beautiful van gogh glass and mirrors.19" by 19" glass round.
