Jack Frost

This is my 11th attempt to create a mosaic piece.  Here I learned to cut glass for the first time.  North Bend (as all the Seattle area) had our harshest winter in history this year.  Looking at various artists' interpretations of winter, I combined several approaches and materials, and then put my own spin on it.  Somehow I came up with a form of abstract drawing (who knew?).  I love how the colors and textures shift as the light or angle of viewing change.
